Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
- Dashboards: your first job will be to understand the data needs of your teammates and build them the dashboards they need to better do their jobs. This includes our CMO, VP of Finance, Head of Banking Operations, Head of Customer Support, and others. You’ll be the owner & creator of many reports & dashboards across the entire business.
- Empower every employee @ Seis to use the data they need: an important part of your job will be doing whatever it takes to unblock others from using data, whether that’s creating dashboards for team members, training staff members on how to create their own reports, or answering one off questions about how to use our data
- Know our business cold: you should know the ins & outs of our business better than anyone. You’ll be explaining to us things we’ve missed, and asking questions that we didn’t even know we should be asking. You’ll give additional context, clarify, and understanding to why our numbers might look a certain way, how we might learn more, and ultimately what could we do about it
- Finding product insights that can only be found in data: we’re talking to customers every day & have tons of qualitative data. What we need now is to build the muscle of finding customer & product learnings in our data. We do this a bit already today, but we need to become the best in the business

- Seis team members feel like they can go to you for any data question they have
- You have a line out of the door of people asking you for help in using our data
- The company builds a culture of asking “what does the data say?” as one of the first questions in making product decisions
- Everyone at Seis knows how to use our data & reporting to better do their jobs
